What I Do

Sleep Research

Sleep Research

I'm curious about what happens in our brains while we are sleeping. In my work I'm trying to find novel ways of uncovering the mystery of slumber. I'm mainly using MEG ( magnetoenzephalography) in my research.

Machine Learning

Machine Learning

Having a background in Artificial Intelligence I'm always on the lookout for ways of transfering novel findings in machine learning to neuroscience.

Neuroscience

Neuroscience

The brain is awesome. That's why I love learning and researching it. Even though my specialization is sleep research, I'm generally interested in all facets of neuroscience, from philosophy of mind to cellular levels.

Python programming

Python programming

I love Python and its open-source-by-design approach. I'm maintaining and contributing to a couple of smaller (e.g. mat73) and larger Python libraries (e.g. pyedflib, MNE, Spyder-IDE). Go check out my GitHub for more!
